Expanding regional parternerships with China’s Guizhou Province. On September 9, 2024, the Georgian Ambassador to China, Paata Kalandadze, participated in the opening ceremony of the 13th China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo in Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province. This event provided a platform for Georgia to showcase its renowned wine industry and explore new business opportunities.

首先，尤為值得一提的是格魯吉亞與中國進一步拓展了地區(qū)間的區(qū)域合作。9月24日，格魯吉亞駐華大使卡嵐達澤出席在貴州省會城市貴陽舉辦的第十三屆中國（貴州）國際酒類博覽會開幕式并致辭。他此行目的旨在為格魯吉亞葡萄酒探尋新的商業(yè)機遇。

During the ceremony, Ambassador Kalandadze addressed the audience, highlighting the importance of cultural and economic exchanges between Georgia and China. The event was attended by high-ranking officials from the Guizhou regional government, underlining the significance of this interaction.

開幕式上，卡嵐達澤強調(diào)了格魯吉亞與中國文化、經(jīng)貿(mào)領(lǐng)域交流的重要性。貴州省政府的高層官員也出席了此次博覽會，體現(xiàn)了此次出訪的重要性。

Following the opening ceremony, Ambassador Kalandadze, along with Besik Gofodze, the Deputy State Representative of Imereti region, hosted guests at the Georgian wine stand. This gesture not only promoted Georgian wine but also fostered people-to-people connections between the two countries.

On the same day, Ambassador Kalandadze met with Tao Pingsheng, the Director of the Guizhou Provincial Foreign Affairs Office. Their discussions centered on potential avenues for developing relations between Georgia and Guizhou Province. Particular emphasis was placed on deepening economic, trade, educational, and tourist ties between Guizhou and Georgia's Imereti region.

當(dāng)天，卡嵐達澤會見了貴州省外事辦主任陶平生。雙方圍繞深化雙邊合作交換了意見，特別強調(diào)了要加強貴州與伊梅列季州在經(jīng)濟、貿(mào)易、教育以及旅游等方面的合作。

A landmark moment came during the "International Friendship Cities Cooperation Conference 2024," held for the first time in Guiyang. At this event, a formal agreement was signed to establish friendly relations between Georgia's Imereti region and China's Guizhou Province. This partnership is expected to open new avenues for cooperation and cultural exchange between the two regions.

In 2011, the first China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverage Expo was held in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, SW China, which was jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Government of Guizhou Province. Over the past decade, this expo has become an international event in terms of the liquor industry, which showcasing Guizhou’s influence on the alcoholic beverage in the world.

2011年，首屆中國（貴州）國際酒類博覽會在中國西南地區(qū)的貴州省貴陽市舉辦，博覽會由中國商務(wù)部和貴州省人民政府共同主辦。十多年來，酒博會已經(jīng)成為具有貴州風(fēng)格、中國特色、世界水平的國家級、國際性酒業(yè)盛會。

From September 9th to 12th, 2024, the 13th China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo, held in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, achieved a trade volume of 11.41 billion RMB roughly, with a total of 132,284 visitors attending.

2024年9月9日至12日期間，第十三屆中國（貴州）國際酒類博覽會在貴州貴陽舉行。本屆博覽會期間，據(jù)不完全統(tǒng)計，為期4天的酒博會，達成貿(mào)易額114.1億元人民幣，累計132284人次觀展。

Meanwhile, during the expo, the International Friendship Cities Cooperation Conference 2024 of Guizhou was held, delegated from 31 sister cities and regions from 15 countries attended the conference.

今年酒博會期間，貴州還舉辦了2024貴州省國際友好城市交流合作會。來自全球15個國家32個國際友城、友好地區(qū)的嘉賓出席了會議。

At the conference, Guizhou Province signed the "Agreement on Deepening Friendly Provincial Relations" with Vitebsk Region of Belarus and Arkhangai Province of Mongolia, and signed the "Agreement on Establishing Friendly Provincial Relations" with Imereti Region of Georgia. Guiyang, Tongren, and Bijie cities respectively signed friendship city agreements or letters of intent with relevant regions in Laos, Belarus, and Sri Lanka.

會上，貴州省與白俄羅斯維捷布斯克州、蒙古前杭愛省分別簽署了《深化友好?。ㄖ荩╆P(guān)系協(xié)議書》，與格魯吉亞伊梅列季州簽署了《建立友好省州關(guān)系協(xié)議書》。貴陽市、銅仁市、畢節(jié)市分別與老撾、白俄羅斯、斯里蘭卡有關(guān)地區(qū)簽署友城協(xié)議或意向書。
